Our client requires the Services of a Sales Executive/Rep who has Experience in the IT sector servicing the SME and Corporate market segment in East London You will have to support and drive end to end sales of the Client's productions and services portolio.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 year’s sales experience
  • Own reliable transport essential
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience in the Information Technology field
  • Previous experience with an ICT company as an external sales representative is preferred
  • Must produce past sales figures
  • Be able to list names of their contacts with the different departments for hardware/Software sales.
  • Must have an understanding of how the SITA Transversal contracts work and which contracts they have worked on.
  • Must have knowledge and have worked with the different Municipal offices in the Buffalo City, Amathole, Chris Hani, OR Thambo districts but especially Buffalo City
  • No criminal record.
  • This position may become available in March 2017.

  • Excellent communicator
  • Good track record of previous sales achievements and extensive experience in all aspects of relationship management.
  • Ability to meet sales targets
  • Good Microsoft skills, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with an ICT company as an external sales representative is preferred
  • Cold calling and setting up new client meetings

Responsibilities

  • Expansion of client base in PE and surrounds, using various skills, cold calling, contacts, telephonic etc.
  • Focus on the expansion of the SME and corporate market
  • Regular customer visits new and existing
  • Achievement of monthly targets and quarterly budget
  • Manage opportunities and quotes through use of company CRM system
  • Reporting on a weekly basis on all sales activities, successes as well as failures and actions to improve performance
  • Promote and maintain the name of the company
