AA20253 - The companies Head office is based in Pretoria but the position will be based around Gauteng. (The candidate will need to sell to the Gauteng Market).They seeks a Sales Executive with the following qualifications: Minimum grade 12 qualification with a tertiary diploma in hospitality an advantage. Minimum of 2 years experience in face-to-face selling and or working at Exhibitions with customers, preferably in the hospitality industry.Duties will include the following: To acquire and maintain Tour Operator and Travel Agent Clients on behalf of The companyTo reach certain set targets as predetermined by management: minimum of 40 telesales and 25 face to face calls per week, split into new and existing business.No R-Value target will apply, thus no incentive scheme offeredTo follow up on all leads given with feedback within 24 hours.Keep a 100% correct database of Clients as well as a travel log record and communicate this on a monthly basis to Home Office.To update Sales Report on a monthly basis with actions, follow-up actions and feed-back and hand in no later than the last day of the month or as required by Management.Draw up and follow a pre-determined action plan on a three monthly basis.To arrange and accompany Clients on site visits and educationals.Maintain good working relationships with Management and colleagues at all Branches.To represent the company at Workshops, Trade Shows and Exhibitions as required by Management.The candidate must have the following skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Be able to work under pressure.Valid Code B (08), valid driver’s license with ability to travel to Head Office where this position will be based on a daily basis. Applicants must have a sound credit record. Own laptop, 3G, Cell phone will be required, funded from the basic salary provided. Person will have access to a company vehicle for sales calls on a daily basis. Vehicle to be driven from HO in the morning and be delivered back at the office after calls. Candidate will use own transport from and to home every day.Solid experience of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and (Outlook) E-mail is required.Ability to deal with a variety of people in a customer-orientated, friendly and patient way.To be able to work on your own and be self-motivated.Must be prepared to work flexible hours and be willing to travel around in a vehicle every day.Must be fluent in at least English (verbal and written)Must be able to travel and be away from home when required, most of the time for longer than one night.
