CENTURION Telecommunications Business Development / Sales Executive / Account Manager

My client in CENTURION has a vacancy for a Sales Executive and Account Manager whose mandate will be to achieve maximum sales profit, account growth and development through sales of company products and related services to both an established customer base and new business accounts and customers.

Responsibilities

Promotes and sells to an existing base and to prospective customers through a relationship- based approach, assisting them in selecting products and services best suited for their needs through demonstrations
Actively cold calls and direct sales telephonically and through canvassing different areas in-person to existing and prospective customers
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and analyses the territory / market’s potential and determines the value of current and prospective customer’s value to the organization
Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers
Resolves customer problems and complaints regarding sales and service on products
Coordinates sales distribution of products or services effort with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the sales process
Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products and services
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy
Supplies management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
Develop, forecast and monitor budgets and ensure effective utilization of operational resources
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Pretoria area and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Manage the sales generation for major accounts within the Pretoria area for all company products
Determine price schedules and discount rates through the Sales Manager and Managing Director
Compile and submit relevant weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to relevant parties timeously
Work directly with key accounts to ensure proper service levels are maintained and special projects are executed
Ensure set targets and goals are reached for your area

Requirements

Relevant tertiary Degree / Diploma in Marketing or Business Studies
3-5 years of telecommunications direct sales experience
Knowledge of hosting environments, hosted IPBX as well as voice and data solutions essential
Knowledge of MPLS, Unified Communications, Samsung and Mitel products advantageous
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Valid South African driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Cost to company with post target sales commission and incentives
Clear credential verification (credit, criminal and qualification) non negotiable
