ResponsibilitiesMaximizes hotel revenue across all customer segmentsFace to face calls with clientsAchieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segmentConducts at least 15 effective sales calls per weekEnsure that every client that makes a group enquiry at one of our Hotels must be contacted within 24 hours of receiving the enquiryLiaises with the Accounts Department regarding credit issuesPrepares proposals in conjunction / for the National Sales Manager that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs.Develop effective sales plans for assigned market segments in coordination with the National Sales ManagerPrepares accurate forecasts as requested in coordination with the National Sales ManagerKeeps Sales Department informed of group booking statusFollows up on commissions and other fees paid to travel agencies within the assigned segmentSeek business opportunities for other hotels within the Region while conducting sales calls To review and monitor business support from clients - room nights production and materialization on a monthly basisTo prepare a weekly Sales Call Plan included in the weekly Sales Tracking Report.
