Sales Executive: Cape Town

Our client is seeking a Sales Executive for Cape Town.

 

You will have the following experience and attributes;

  • To meet or exceed personal growth targets with an acceptable profit and risk profile to contribute to the overall company targets

  • To coordinate, support and develop cross business unit growth within the specified industry to achieve the overall target

  • To develop compelling business value propositions for existing and new business opportunities to meet growth targets through industry solution selling

  • To align specific client objectives with the overall objectives to ensure sustainable growth of the industry vertical

  • To develop and maintain a well-managed pipeline of new business opportunities within vertical industries over a defined timeline to ensure continuous growth

  • To take ownership of the tender process to ensure successful sales

  • To ensure the successful implementation of the solutions sold in line with the company’s documented implementation process

  • Development and closure of sales opportunities

  • To update Sales Force (minimum weekly), on a Friday for the previous week. Daily use of the system in its entirety is encouraged

  • To achieve weekly call rates of 10 calls per week. To achieve a minimum of 4 brand new client visits per week (new logo’s)

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint at an intermediate level

  • Grade 12 qualification

  • 4 years’ experience in generalist business development with experience in sales, supply chain, logistics and distribution

  • 5 years successful sales experience within blue chip accounts

  • Code 08 license

  • Skills knowledge and abilities required
