Sales Executive in Hygiene Industry, Sales:

Our client a reputable name within the Hygiene and Manufacturing Industry requires a Business Developer to join their active and livey team.

Purpose of the role:

Achieve set monthly sales targets
Achieve monthly cold calls and appointments
Improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth
Must be able to adapt to the long-term strategic goals of the company, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals
Knowledgeable of the current market condition in the industry
Must be able to work with the internal team to increase sales opportunities and grow the business to maximize income
Have to find potential new clients, present to them and ultimately convert them into clients
The BD will manage an existing portfolio of clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive with the service
Call on clients, make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict the clients' future needs


Key functions:

Prospect for and identify potential new clients and decision makers within the prospect's company
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
Research and build relationships with new clients
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's management/principles
Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives
Participate in pricing the solution and services
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
Present an image that mirrors that of the company
Adhere to company policies and procedures for the acceptance of new clients
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
Participate in internal and external client debriefs
Matric with Mathematics
South African
Minimum 3 years sales experience
Experience in the service industry
Strong cold calling ability
MS office Packages - (Strong on Excel)
Own Car
