We are seeking young, ambitous and energetic individuals to join a reputable hotel group to utilize their skills and ability to sell.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a DATABASE of commercial, retail, travel and organisational contracts to maximise salesUndertake to predetermined levels, direct TELESALES and SALES CALLS (face to face) to potential and established clients in the area allocated to the satisfaction of the RSM. (Allocation of clients / areas will change from time to time as per Company’s requirements).Achieve the SALES TARGET as set by the NSM, RSM and GM.Devise and produce a working SALES BUSINESS PLAN, which adequately provides territorial management, adequate sales coverage and specialised commercial activities.Produce and submit required daily, weekly, monthly REPORTS.ATTEND TRAVEL FUNCTIONS, e.g. fairs, trade shows, exhibitions and events in a participative or observer status. Attend all Regional Sales Meetings, sales conferences, and any other meetings which will provide input as requested by the RSM.Participate in EDUCATIONALS to hotels for commercial or travel trade contracts as required.Maintain WEEKLY CONTACT with GM, Reservations Manager and Banqueting Manager in order to develop working relationship and to have a constant awareness of trends within the hotel.Transmit all LEADS for business outside of your allocated area to the RSM in that area without delay.Advise other regions via your Regional Sales Manager if any RELEVANT INFORMATION pertaining to the hotel.Ensure good PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE of all properties in the group as well as of the Hotels Traditions.Be fully conversant with contents of PROCEDURES MANUAL & RATES MANUALEnsure that Activities are 100% up to date and correct on the Sales Force Automation system.Support and assist Regional Sales Manager and adhere to all reasonable instructions.RequirementsMatricAt least 2 years Sales experienceValid driver's license is essentialAbility and desire to sellExcellent Communication SkillsHigh degree of self-motivation and ambitionSkills to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to flourish in a competitive environmentTime managementStrong technical skills: Computer Literacy Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Deadline drivenAble to perform under pressureOnly short listed applicants will be contacted.
