Synopsis:

Leading financial services provider requires a suitably skilled and experienced Sales Manager to manage a team of Direct Sales consultants at their Cape Town office

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
BCom degree or similar
CFP preferable
120 NQF Level 5 FAIS
RE 5 Certificate
Minimum 5 years experience managing sales consultants
Sound knowledge of insurance industry
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Excellent presentation skills

Job Description:

Driven and highly motivated Sales Manager who is deadline driven and has excellent people skills to take responsibility for:
• Business development:
o Initiating and roll-out of lead initiatives
o Lead allocation
o Analysing sales activities
o Analysing statistical data and tracking leads
o Discussing advertising strategies
o Conducting sales initiative meetings with various divisions within the group
o Attending and co-ordinating Wellness days with relevant departments
• Managing sales staff:
o Directing and co-ordinating activities of sales and administration staff
o Performance management
o Promotions, dismissals, warnings, etc.
o Product training
o Sales meetings with team
o Monitoring leads and production daily
o Recruitment of new staff
• Financial:
o Preparing budgets
o Managing expenses and entertainment per budget
• Client service:
o Resolving customer complaints re sales and service
o Managing lapse ratios
