Job Purpose Summary:
Responsible for the overall management of the sales department by establishing effective sales activities, strategies and action plans to ensure maximum profitability and growth in line with company Objectives
 

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12
  • Sales degree or diploma preferred


Experience Required:

  • 5 years in sales management experience within the Telecom Industry – IT distribution environment.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
  • Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of account managers and sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives as specified in the sales plan.
  • Ensure that all account manager and sales representative activities and actions are ethical and in line with company values.
  • Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.
  • Manage the sales administration function by formulating and maintaining all sales policies, procedures and systems creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
