Our FMCG client is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Sales Manager, based in Free State , Mpumalanga , Limpopo and North West. The purpose of the Role is to manage the Key Account function for organization and its Principals through the independent Sub-D’s, ensuring the execution of the T3 strategy at the Sub-D’s’ and through the Retail Trade in the Main Market.

Key Responsibilities:
•Management of accounts and Sub-D Development
•Effective Strategy & Planning
•Information Management & Reporting
•Supply Chain Management
•Ensure successful POS management
•Lead and manage a team

Position Requirements:
•A minimum of matric with a relevant tertiary qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
•Key Account competencies, people leadership and management skills will be a prerequisite of the role
•Between 5 – 7 years FMCG experience, 2 - 3 years at Management level, with direct reports
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Key Account function
•New Business Development Competencies will be a required skill
•Prior working experience, knowledge and skills in managing CRM systems and the implementation thereof
•Extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with Employee Relations
•Experience and ability to performance manage a team, coach, counsel and motivate large teams
•Proficient in all Microsoft applications (intermediate to advance Excel skills). SAP experience will be advantageous
•Reliable own transport with an Unendorsed 08 license and willingness to travel
•High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
•Strong business acumen with an inherent desire to improve overall business performances ongoing through analysis and remedial actions
