PURPOSE OF POSITION
Managing all the Office Automation Sales Divisions and Consumables.

Requirements of the Position
A broad understanding of all areas of management, including knowledge of finance, marketing and communication, strategic planning, human resources and information technology.
• Strong financial and business acumen – proven track record.

• 10 or more years successful selling in industry.

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: ORGANISING, MOTIVATING AND CONTROLLING THE STAFF IN THE OFIICE AUTOMATION AND CONSUMABLE SALES DIVISIONS
• Build excellent and lasting customer relations.
• Optimise the visibility in the industry of your Sales teams.
• Increase the market share / penetration of our products.
• Motivating Sales Consultants by means of incentives, videos and team building exercises.
• Monitoring customer prospects, projected and actual Sales, opposition activity, pricing and product specifications.
• Setting Sales targets.
• Recruiting and interviewing of new staff.
• Organise Customer launches and demonstrations.
• Driving Quota Club and measuring the results thereof.

FINANCIAL AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
• Compiling and presentation of budgets for the Financial Year.
• Measuring unit sales, turnover, margin, expenses and contribution on a monthly basis per Sales Consultant.
• Presentation of monthly financial figures to the Directors of the Company.
• Calculating cost comparisons for Customers.
• Negotiate special pricing with suppliers where necessary.
• Scrutinise and authorise all commissions payable and ensure payable according to the relevant commission manual.

MEETINGS
• Conducting Sales meetings on a regular basis.
• Attending the monthly Management meetings.
• Attending and arranging meetings that relate to and influence the Sales Division.

TENDERS
• Receiving of all documentation relating to tenders for Term Contracts.
• Compiling specifications and attending specification meetings for tenders.
• Communicating with Tender Boards on tender related issues.
• Negotiating products and pricing with the Franchise / Marketing Department and our Suppliers for tenders.
• Compiling and submission of Term Contract tenders.
