Our client is the market leader in the supply self adhesive tapes. Our client reaches its customers through distinctive market segments such as Automotive, Industrial, Paper, Print and Film, Aluminum and Steel, Cable and General Industrial Markets.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our clients sales team to achieving organisational goals. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry. You will have the ability to think strategically, grow, motivate and mentor staff and be creative in developing the business further.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of Sales Consultants
• Develop and implement sales strategy, measurement and analysis
• Research and Development of new and existing market segments
• Marketing of product
• Oversee key accounts
• Obtain a high level of product knowledge
• Liaising with local and overseas principles
• Travelling nationally and internationally when required
• Dealing with large multinational companies
• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets
• Budget preparation and monthly measurement against budget
• Liaising with all divisions within the organisation
• Prepare and run annual sales conference
• High level analysis of sales data and action thereof
• Project and manage stock levels based on activity
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Preparation and presentation of reports to the Board of Directors

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Minimum of 3-5 years managerial experience
• A Minimum of a B-degree or equivalent qualification
• Conflict Management, HR knowledge and LRA
• A high level of computer literacy, particularly all Microsoft Office packages
• Understanding of production and supply chain
• Strong administration skills to implement systems and controls
• Report writing ability
• High level sales negotiation and Board Room experience
