Job Description:

Management of the Sales Representatives:
Designating and coordinating Sales Representatives areas
Daily Weekly meetings with Sales Representatives
Sales Representatives call sheets and time management
Monitoring of Sales Reps on the c-track system
Visiting clients with the Sales Representative, as and when needed
Attending to client that have dropped off or have buying, with Sales Representatives
Admin od Sales Representatives
Attending to customers complains / escalated queries from GM /MD / Sales Department
Management of Telesales
Designating and coordinating Tele sellers areas
Daily / Weekly meetings with Telesales
Time management of Tele Sellers, specifically their overtime work
Attending and solving customer queries, complaints and compliments escalated by Sales Supervisor
Request for sponsorship / donation from customers, in conjunction with the Director
Ensuring shift / roster system for Tele sellers with regards overtime, public holidays and Saturdays is set up by Sales Supervisor, Sales Manager and Sales Administrator.
Attending to clients that have dropped off or stopped buying with tele sellers
Enforcing of the cut-off and days with the telesales division
Over-seeing the process of adding new clients onto the system through sales administrator
Managing Admin of Sales division
Selling into Key Accounts
Selling to Wholesale Traders
Overall Sales to the Cape Town Surrounding area
Sales reports weekly, monthly and annually
Analysing sales reports and reporting back to the Company Director
Sending all stats on daily basis to General Manager and HR Manager
Managing and controlling the Routing department:
Overseeing and getting involved in the same day deliveries and driving cut-off times with various
departments involved on a daily basis
Being involved with the route planning for the next deliveries by sales team by compliance to cut-off times
Analysing if it is viable to delivery to new customer if there is gravel and dirt road involved
Sales /Routing / Checking on Google maps / Terrain ids suitable
Working with and involving the Operational Manager and / or the I.R Officer with regards to disciplinary measures required with the telesales and / or routing departments
Departmental Management
Managing targets with regards to calls /sales / areas (Sales reps +telesales)
Analysing Customer Basket growth and customer spend
Analyse buying trends and strategizing how to increase market share
Management of assets & requirements for department (Hardware + Software)
Identify key customers & manage growth
Checking & Escalating Investigative Issues with regards to credit notes to relevant departments and ensuring feedback and corrective measure escalated
Continual monitoring & Checking of Sales / Operation system – Escalate and improve ways of using system & Enhancing customer experience to CEO / System owner
Plan & Implement Sales Strategies i.e. incentives / promotional activities / marketing ideas to improve Sales
Managing process with regards to pricing & Discounting / Pricelists / Customer Categories / Pricelist Options
Budget Control & Management of Reps airtime / parking / Ad-hoc spend
