As Sales & Marketing Assistant, your 2-3 Years of Telemarketing / Sales experience will prove essential when prospecting, targeting & contacting clients to promote our services. Your experience in a Sales & Marketing environment should assist you in effectively promote our brand image when placing adverts, publishing social media posts, & writing promotional literature regarding our products & services.

Your competence in working with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint, as well as your understanding of Google Adwords, MailChimp, WordPress, & various Social Media Platforms, will provide you with an advantage when it comes to maintaining our online assets & executing promotional campaigns.

Your Required Strengths
* Sales – Experience selling to customers over the phone &/or in person is essential. If you do not have any sales experience, please do not apply!
* Brand Image & Message – An understanding of what a Brand Image is and its importance.
* Communication – Clear communication both verbally and in writing.
* Organisation – Adept at recording, storing & sharing information, as well as scheduling & prioritizing tasks.
* Self-motivated – Motivated, within yourself, to complete tasks to the best of your ability, unsupervised.
* Attention to Detail – Take pride in your work & ensure that all of your “I’s” are dotted & “t’s” are crossed.
* Positive – Remain positive, even when dealing with difficult clients.
* Team Player – Eager to learn, grow & contribute as part of the team & happy to help where needed.
* Problem Solver – Think of practical solutions when problems arise.
* Work Ethic – Understand your role in the team & take the initiative to go the extra mile, while maintaining respect for your fellow team members.

Your Required Skills & Experience
* 2-3 Years or more Telemarketing / Sales Experience
* Experience in a Sales & Marketing Environment
* Strong comm& of the English Language
* Ability to write Blog Posts, Articles & Informational Documents
* Client Liaison Experience
* Customer Service Experience
* Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* Knowledge of /Experience with Google AdWords, MailChimp, WordPress, Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc).

Salary – R9500/m CTC (no benefits)

* Own transportation necessary.
* Work hours: 8:30 – 16:30.
* Offices are currently situated in Plumstead, but will be moving to the Maitland area in July/August this year.
