Sales & Marketing Manager
We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, energetic, analytical and strong individual to head up the marketing department. The successful candidate will develop, implement, manage and control the marketing strategy in line with company objectives and manage the day to day marketing activities of the company.
Create and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
Managing the sales and marketing teams as well as strategic key accounts to ensure that sales targets are met.
Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships by ensuring regular customer visits and customer pricing management.
Overseeing and implementing the sales strategy, whilst developing and managing customer strategies to meet business objectives.
Maintaining sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current of supply and demand, changes in trends, economic indicators and competitors.
Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition as well as supply and demand.
Completing sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
Managing and implementing sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning.
Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales and marketing staff.
Proactively identify changes in competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments to address key business issues and opportunities.
Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
Attend and lead seminars and conferences as appropriate.
Relevant post graduate degree
? At least 5 -7 years proven working experience in Sales and Marketing senior management/leadership role.
? Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
? Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
? Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives.
? Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.
? Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills. ? Must be well-presented. ? Must be able to identify and pursue opportunities. ? Must be fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
