There’s a vacancy for a Sales and Marketing Manager at an internet service provider based in Stellenbosch.

Job Description:

* Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
* Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections
* Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
* Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
* Work in a hands-on fashion, building the team—provide motivation and inspiration
* Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
* Develop new business opportunities for b2b customers
* Help develop and implement strategic sales plans
* Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications
* Report weekly on sales forecasts
* Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
* Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
* Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
* Ensure details displayed to the public is accurate on digital and printed versions
* Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
* Assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
* Manage daily administrative tasks
* Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
* Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
* Develops sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
* Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
* Resolve customer complaints effectively
* Track sales data and work to meet quotas or sales team goals
* Analyse trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
* Help to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing and sales teams
* Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
* Train and develop sales team

Requirements:

* Min 2+ years’ experience required in the wireless industry
* Industry related (internet services)
* Proven experience as a sales and marketing manager or relevant role
* Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
* Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
* Fast learner and passion for sales
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
* Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
