Looking for a Sales Rep within the Automotive Industry, for a well-known International Company.

Minimum Requirements:

Must live within the following area(s): Upington
• Minimum 2 years working sales experience in relevant industry.
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
• Legal & valid driver's license with no endorsements
• South African Citizen
• No Criminal Record or Charge
• Clean Credit History (Reputable)
• Must have one of the following at home, a telephone line, 3G, Tablet.

Remuneration:

All figures stated are based on performance of previous sales representative and his / her management of the area.
Basic salary=R8 000-00
Commission payable on collections - sliding scale (Average comm. last 12 months +/- R4500.00pm. Commission may be more.
Target bonus (payable only on target achievement, (Average bonuses last 12 months +/- R3000.00pm.
Company Vehicle + Petrol Card
Communication Allowance (R1 000.00)
Medical Aid (50% contribution toward Discovery)
Pension (7.5% contribution of basic)

Job Description:
OBJECTIVE: GENERATING PROFITABLE SALES
SALES DIVISION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. TARGETS / TARGET ACHIEVEMENT
The Company will set and agree with the Sales Representative a fair / achievable yearly growth target for sales territory.This target is set as the performance expectation of the Company for that territory, and as such you are required to ensure that these monthly targets are met at all times.
b. CUSTOMER RECORDS AND INFORMATION
The Company will provide the Sales Representative with relevant documentation,record cards and forms for the purpose of maintaining Customer Information pertinent to the Sales Division. These forms must at all times be maintained and kept up-to-date in accordance with the relevant information, and is a mandatory requirement for all Sales Staff. Customer information may not be given or divulged to any external person or other Company and if it is divulged or given out, it will be taken as a breach of the Employment Contract.
c. REPORTS AND SALES REPORTS
The Company has a system of reporting for both daily activities, as well as weekly and monthly reporting of Sales Figures and Activities of all Sales Staff. The Sales Representative will be required to comply fully with all tasks given and currently valid within this reporting system.
d. PLANNING
All Sales Staff are required to establish and keep up-to-date a Planning system for all customers. Such a system must comply with and be acceptable to the Company, and must be maintained on a regular basis.
e. TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT
One of the most important key result areas in the assessment of a Salespersons performance is the continued development of the Sales Territory under his control.
As such, all sales staff are required to develop each and every customer within his territory, as well as to open four new customers every month, with the specific objective of maximizing the full potential of their customers and their area.
The growth philosophy of our Company includes the multiplication process of our sales force, through the re-structuring of sales territories and the addition of sales staff.
It is therefore to be expected that the sales territory will not remain permanently static, but that such changes shall be made.
f. PRODUCT RANGE DEVELOPMENT
Further to the development of the Customers, all Sales Staff are required to maximize the customer potential through the introduction of new products and the broadening of the Product Range purchased by the customer.
g. PAYMENT COLLECTION / CREDIT CONTROL
It is the policy of the Company that all Sales Staff are responsible for the collection of payments, and to assist in the maintenance of Credit Facilities enjoyed by the customer from our Company. All payments collected from clients by whatsoever means will be paid into the company account on a weekly basis. The employee will maintain and produce all the necessary documentation in this regard.
