Our client, a preferred employer, is a leader in the field of payment technology and currently has a vacancy in KZN for a top performer in the integrated payments sales environment. The successful candidate will be required to acquire new business by means of hard-core selling, cold call tactics and referral business.
MAIN DUTIES
Actively canvass and prospect all potential clients in the SMME market
Identify the needs of potential clients and see how the company can make a difference in their business lives
Have value driven discussions with potential clients i.e. sell value not price
Drive collection of the final contract and FICA documentation
Plan and organise daily activities – ensure a daily discipline is in place
Negotiate with each client in line with what is right for the business
Exceed and maintain sales targets
Drive referral business from client base
Update and maintain Sales Force Dot Com, sales management tool
Provide regular feedback to management on sales activities, pipelines and deals
Collect and collate market information
KNOWLEDGE
Good understanding of the South African Point-of-Sale, FinTech, and/or card acquiring is highly advantageous
Specific Sales and/or Marketing experience preferable
Good understanding of the SMME market is advantageous
QUALIFICATIONS
Matric
Preference will be given to candidates with tertiary education
EXPERIENCE
2 Years sales experience in the banking merchant services market OR
3 years’ experience in the sales environment
SALARY
The company will start on a base of R25,000 for the first three months and convert to a guaranteed commission of R10,000 per month after the thrid month. On target earnings should remain around R25,000 per month. Company benefits such as a petrol card, cell phone allowance, medical aid, provident fund, laptop, car maintenance allowance are provided.
