Sales Representative
Area: West Rand
The purpose of this position is to focus on building long-term relationships with customers, work closely with customers, and acting as an all-round business consultant to identify how the company can assist in improving the quality and effectiveness of their care.
Sales Representative, selling products and services in the West Rand, Gauteng. The customers include Public Facilities, Private Facilities, Long Term Care and Home Care, but not limited to these.
KPA’s
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
• Visiting potential customers for developing new business and analyzing needs
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations
• Providing customers with solutions
• Gathering market and customer information
• Providing feedback on future buying trends
• Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
• Liaising with operations department to check on the progress of existing orders
• Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge
• Frequent travel in the West Rand, and as per RSM request
Qualifications
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be preferred
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing is preferred

Requirements
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry
• People person
• Customer Service Orientated
• Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
• Ability to work independently
• Available outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirements
