RedCat Recruitment is seeking a SALES REPRESENTATIVE – DEALER CHANNEL for a well-established company in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales environment at a senior level working within a dealer based distribution method
Strong commercial acumen coupled with a strategic and analytical approach;
High level of competency in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of IT systems and applications;
Good communication, customer and staff relationship management skills;
Pro-active, responsive and ability to meet deadlines and deliver results with passion and a sense of urgency;
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail;
Good time management and organisational skills;
Flexible work schedule and regular travel is required;
Active contributor to positive team culture;
Valid driver’s licence and passport;

Develop annual sales and growth strategies using comprehensive market intelligence and competitor analysis that focus on meeting ongoing/changing business needs of the dealer network within the designated territory.
Implement a strong sales focus on all group brands and product categories.
Strong focus on the implementation of the Company Business Model.
Meet monthly and quarterly reporting requirements as specified by the company. Conduct regular and formalised business analysis including key dealers & product line performance reviews.
Contribute to the development of strategic plans and establish a regular review process to measure and report progress against the plan.
Nurture existing customer relations and explore the development of new customers*. Provide special emphasis on the development of long term sustainable partnerships with key dealers.
*Initial focus will be on securing new dealers.
Ensure intimate knowledge of all products within the dealer portfolio is maintained and continuously developed.
