This company is a leading wholesaler of Industrial Tools & Equipment in South Africa. Over the last 5 years growth has stagnated and new initiatives have been introduced to stimulate growth and therefor a new position opens in Upington:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE
UPINGTON AREA

Requirements:
- Minimum Matric or NTC3 Post matric qualification preferable with at least 5 years’ experience in the Co-Op environmental sector ( industrial as well as the retail side of the Co-
Op business)
- Must be wiling to travel
- Above average people skills and problem solving skills
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Good business acumen (i.e. numeracy skills, generation of profit and loss, cash flow, margin)
- Excellent sellingskills

Duties will include, but not limited to:
- The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the profitability of allocated accounts, by managing the relationship with the Customers and supporting them to exceed
their sales targets of our product range.
- Ensure yield on revenue sold is at the required level of Gross Profit
- Increase turnover of existing customers across the entire account base by up selling and cross selling
- Identify opportunities to win business where Customers currently favor competitors’ products.
- Ability to negotiate a win/win business solution in meeting client needs.
- Inform customers of new products/brands, promotional campaigns or joint marketing programs and feedback to management
- Formulate and implement plans to increase turnover per existing customer
- Research and gather information about potential product ranges
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of client’s business
- Determine who the key decision-makers are and what the prospect’s needs are

Position will be controlled from the Johannesburg branch.
