Sales Representative – PPE, Industrial Equipment, Cleaning Chemicals

R5000.00 P/M plus Commission (Targets and Pricing).

Sales Representative:

Purpose of role:
• To promote and sell the total solution concept to all customers per your and your team’s client list (Personal Protective Equipment/Cleaning/Industrial/Related Products)
• To promote sales of the company’s supplies in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures
• To always project a professional personal and organisational image

Responsibilities:
• To promote new business through an organised and outgoing prospecting system
• To produce a weekly planning list which covers your targeted territory (East Rand/Johannesburg and Surrounds) effectively and economically
• To render informative daily call reports
• To investigate and maintain an up to date and competitive customer record system
• To report any significant competitor activity in your area
• To investigate new product lines that may sell well in your area with a view to potentially adding to the product range
• To approach all situations with the organisation’s objectives and welfare in mind
• To submit weekly, and accurate and comprehensive report, detailing your activities, problems and opportunities
• To complete and submit any opportunities and/or threats in the Opportunities and Threats record keeping system
• To submit orders prior to 15H00 for the next day’s delivery
• To follow up with any outstanding orders with dispatch
• Log and immediately attend to customer complaints and see to it that appropriate action is taken by the relevant department
• To attend weekly sales meetings
Experience and Qualifications required:
• Demonstrated success in a previous sales position selling "similar"/allied products to the Industrial, Mining, Construction/Building, Government and varied Corporate Client Base
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence
• Target Driven
• Matric/Certifications
