Saxenburg Wine Estate is looking for a self-motivated, hard working, confident individual who has the ability to manage good relationships with current clients while growing the on-consumption sales in GAUTENG. We need a person who has had experience in the on-consumption market specifically with 5* Hotels, restaurants, sports clubs and corporate clients.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about the wine industry and who can present our wines to a wide range of people and in many situations. Organizational skills with a commercial awareness and excellent communication skills will be required with the ability to work under pressure. The job will include (but not be limited to) regular client visits, focusing on current clients while always looking for new opportunities, participating in wine shows and festivals (as determined by the Sales Manager) and regular on-consumption initiatives e.g. waiter trainings, wine dinners etc. This job does include some evening work as well as some occasional weekend work.

An excellent knowledge of wine and the local industry is required as well as a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the wine industry.

Own reliable transport is a necessity with a valid driver’s license. The position is available immediately. The package will be based on a basic plus commission, that is market and previous experience related.
