Sales Representative

Purpose:

A well-known large pharmaceutical organization urgently is seeking a Sales Representative to join their organization who will be responsible for calling on Ophthalmologists, GP’s and Pharmacies to sell and detail pharmaceutical products

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key customers and decision makers
Consistently achieve Market Share and growth objectives for area
Successful implementation of marketing strategies
Successful launch and uptake of new products in the territory
Meet all sales, customer coverage and activity objectives
Respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries
Diligent reporting as required by line manager
Efficiently manage expenses
Close collaboration with Pharmacy team reps to achieve product targets
Location

Cape Town North and South Suburbs
2 Day Fly-in country trip to George
2 Day Fly-in country trip to PE

Qualifications:

Matric
Science Degree
Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point)
A valid driver’s licence
Experience:

Previous Ophthalmology experience and exposure to Specialist detailing would be an advantage
Full understanding of performance drivers including metrics around market share and EI
A minimum of 2 years’ successful experience as a Medical Sales Rep in a specialist therapeutic area
Salary: R600k
