SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB VACANCY

DUTIES
• Service existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales clients.
• Maintain the current existing customer base budgets
• Expanding the current customer base and obtaining new potential customers
• Daily customer visits
• Achieving the set budgets and targets
• Asserting customer requirements and delivering on these requirements in conjunction with the company’s objections
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising, techniques and etc.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Regular liaising with the sales team
• Completing the daily and monthly visit or activity reports

REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent communication, selling, written and verbal communication
• High degree of self-management, enthusiasm and energy
• Ability to work outside of normal working hours
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and friendly disposition
• Ability to work well under pressure

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• National Senior Certificate – Grade 12/Matric
• Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or related qualification
• 4 – 6 Years external sales experience
• Experience working in the chemical industry is an advantage
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Drivers license and own vehicle
• Willing to travel locally and internationally
