1. PURPOSE STATEMENT

To implement a market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within the wholesale, retail trade which delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation


2. KEY OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Manage and build customer relationships by calling on each customer weekly
? Ensure maintenance of customer master data
? Achieve customer sales volume targets
? Ensure availability of key brands and packs at all times
? Ensure effective merchandising of outlet as per Horeca and In Trade Execution Guidelines.
? Negotiate and execute limited merchandising space at outlet level and execute
? Negotiate and execute interior and exterior price communication
? Negotiate recommended price points and ensure compliance
? Capture price priorities
? Conduct asset verification surveys (Merchandising, wholesale, Retail, etc.)
? Ensure each outlets buys direct from Company consistently on a weekly basis
? Assist customers with Model stock system to manage stock replenishment and minimise stock outs
? Manage stock rotation and quality
? Complete and influence quarterly and annual surveys

3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
? A grade 12 qualification is a minimum requirement
? National Diploma or Degree equivalent
? At least 2 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/FMCG environment
? Horeca, Wholesale knowledge and experience
? Valid unendorsed Code 8 drivers licence
? Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office
? Local area knowledge is a requirement
? Ability to work in a flexible working environment (working on week-ends)
