A national based company working in the Waste Industry Service and Oil Pollution control is recruiting for an experienced sales representative with an established network who is familiar with sales and tender procedures to drive business. The ideal candidate must have external sales experience with traceable references within the industry.

Organization and Management

· Manage key clients with sales in Operations and products.

· Assisting with quotations and costings for Key Account Customers.

· Plan and coordinate meetings in relevant regions.

· Liaising with Operations in terms of job scheduling, resource management and related items.

· Set appointments with relevant decision makers / role players.

Administrative Function

· Monitoring sales figures and reports.

· Monitor quotes and call sheets.

· Compile sales reports for Management meetings.

Client Liaison and Sales

· Liaising with clients regarding job progress, costings, reports and job planning and quoting.

· Assisting with tender submission planning and compilation and quoting.

· Assisting operations department with quotations and job planning client liaison.

· Assisting with debtor management with regards to client liaison

· Assisting with securing work orders from clients for work completed or in progress

Daily Tasks/Responsibilities

· Review and follow up on the administrative function from meetings from the previous day.

· Attend meetings, assist with site visits for quoting purposes where necessary.

· Assist with quote requirements, costings and pricing.

· Report to management on performances, progress of jobs, turnover and other issues relating to sales as and when

required.

· 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

· Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Environmental and Rapid Response field

· A valid drivers licence

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Persuasive, firm, well-mannered and a good negotiator

· Work in a team and be confident

· Sensitive to customers’ needs and requirements
