Our client, a large Multinational Engineering Firm is seeking a a Driven and Self Motivated Sales individual.

 

The main function/task for this position is to co-operate and work jointly with the team to create sales opportunities in the Western Gauteng area. The person must be able to discuss solutions on all levels, from individual products to complex systems, including engineered solutions, service and training. Practically set-up and demonstrate solutions in the work shop or at customer sites. The person must have knowledge of LV Drives and Motors.

 

 

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;

 

  • Adopting hands on approach towards establishing and developing excellent relationships with existing and new customers.

Understand the clients thinking and requirements to be able to translate their needs into working solutions.

  • Generating a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting the Client’s products and systems and the customer benefits, not only related to the Business Unit.
  • Continuously analyze the market to ensure thorough knowledge and input to the business and marketing Plan.
  • Identify and follow potential business leads from early pursuits through project execution if necessary.

 

  •  Where required, help outside of assigned area as requested by management.

 

Minimum Qualifications: BTech degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience

 

  • Minimum Experience: 3 years experience in the sales of Motors and Drives

 

  • Must have a passion for improving customers plant processes and be able to give the best possible support to them in all aspects.

 

  • The candidate should demonstrate the kind of empathy that builds productive relationship with customers

 

  • Need to be a self-starter with ability to think/generate conceptual solution

 

  • Show a high level of initiative that will place him/her in the best position to meet the demands for this position

 

  • Be able to think analytically, well organized and systematic to solve/support customer as quickly as possible, work independently as well as in a team
