One of our Clients, specializing in Investments, currently has a vacancy available for a Sales Support Representative. They are based in Gauteng, Johannesburg. The opportunity is an 8 month contract position.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an appropriate tertiary education with a good understanding of accounting
- An appropriate tertiary education
- Min 3-5 relevant working experience
- Previous working experience in the finance industry will be viewed favorably
- Computer literacy: must be proficient it word, excel and PowerPoint and have experience using CRM systems.
- Professional
- Friendly and diplomatic Nature, possessing sufficient maturity to speak confidently with intermediaries and clients.

Primary job function:
Sales Support:
- - printing fact sheets, or presentations on request for consultants
- - compiling booklets for consultants to take to their advisors
- - emailing documents for consultants if they are on the road
- - diary management – making appointments for consultants
- - CRM Updates – managing daily and real time updates on behalf of the sales team
- - CRM reporting – extracting reports and data from CRM
- - assisting where possible with incoming phone calls and walk-in clients
Events and Marketing:
- - attending and assisting with events and office functions for Gauteng region
- - setting up the meeting & presentation rooms
- - liaising with caterers & suppliers of beverages (when required)
- - printing, compiling folders for event material
- - managing client lists, keeping track of and communicating RSVPs
- - typing up feedback on suppliers and venues to communicate to marketing
- - managing marketing inventory in JHB office
General office duties:
- - managing the office, supplies, suppliers, etc.
- - opening up and locking up the office during working hours
- - answering advisor, client & supplier calls
- - correspondence in terms of emails
- - welcoming clients/advisors to the office
- - make bookings for team lunches
- · Management support:
- - assisting with various reports and leads research
- - managing/updating unallocated/new advisors in the Gauteng region
