Sales Technician (Electronic Security)

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Relevant qualification

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ CCTV / Electronics Technician
Counter sales
Technically Minded, able to handle low level repairs & testing of equipment
Must have a proven sales track record
Computer literate, MS Office, especially well versed on Excel
Experience working on a CRM system
Well spoken & presented
Valid Driver’s license & own transport

Responsibilities:
Sales
Assisting customers with CCTV, alarms, access control products
Assisting walk in customers with queries and sales of correct products
Testing of equipment
Assisting with low level repairs
Liaising with various departments
Marketing of products
Costing & compiling BOM of products
Invoicing of sales
Able to understand customer needs & provide correct solution
Train & advise sales staff or installers on products and solutions
Configuring of equipment
Present / demonstrate products
Travelling on site to client when needed
Ensuring customer service and satisfaction
General Admin

Additional information:
Salary R10 000 – R15 000 basic (gross) + bonus based on product sales
Sales & target driven
Technically minded
Valid License & own transport
Contract position with potential to become permanent
