Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to engage services of a Sales Technologist. The incumbent should reside and will be stationed in Limpopo area. Ideal candidate should be well versed in water treatment chemicals as well as sales.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Actively develops new business in and around LIMPOPO and maintains current business.
• Expands current business with existing customers and seeks new applications for existing products.
• Liaises with customers to identify water treatment needs for new and existing applications.
• Provides technical service to customers.
• Improves sales and technical skills as well as product knowledge through continual training and attendance at professional meetings and conferences.
• Maintains expenses within budget limits.
• Provides service call reports, and all required reports in a neat, timely and orderly manner.
• Managing the FMCG in the Limpopo area.
• Responsible for the day to day running of these sites.
• Managing/overseeing laborers on site.
• Reporting to the role players on these sites.
• Expanding the business within the FMCG portfolio.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Matric/Grade 12.
• Diploma in Chemistry / Water Treatment field would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years chemical experience.
• Water treatment (boilers, cooling, effluent) experience is essential.
• Strong technical (problem solving) capabilities are essential.
• Sales experience (in the water treatment field) is a definite plus.
• Valid SA driver’s license.
• Need to reside within the Limpopo Area.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated.
• Computer literate (MS Office).
• Fully bilingual in both English and Afrikaans.
