This Global Organisation is in search of a SAP Analyst Developer to assist in completing SAP ABAP program developments for SAP Projects. This role requires an intermediate resource who is confident and well-spoken. Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be greatly beneficial. Responsibilities: • Identify and propose opportunities within business where SAP can assist in giving the business a competitive edge and/or lower operating costs • Assist, do and complete SAP ABAP program developments for SAP Business Support – as determined by the SAP functional teams • Assist the SAP functional teams in completing technical specifications • Work with business partners in order to identify process/system challenges and offer necessary support and expertise regarding successful resolution of issues • Ability to interpret technical specifications and write the relevant SAP ABAP programming • Together with business partners and functional teams assist in the compilation of detailed business specifications for any new projects • After sign-off, translate business requirements into system process design and develop technical specifications • Ensure that SAP ABAP programming deadlines are met • Provide the SAP functional teams with training regarding SAP Programming • Provide SAP Programming support after hours – when on standby duty • Manage SAP programming HEAT calls that have been allocated • Where applicable log OSS calls to SAP AG for support or solutions for program errors • Ability to interpret SAP Program errors – short dumps in ST22 • Identify opportunities where SAP ABAP code can be improved in existing programs Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 4 years experience • Matric / Grade 12 • SAP Certification an advantage • Applicable SAP ABAP Programming training and experience • SAP Project experience • Strong technical IT system skills i.e. servers, databases, systems • Excellent Microsoft Office skills i.e. Access and Excel • Analytical expert to resolve programs • Excellent communication skills
