Requirements:

Financial qualification
Minimum 2 years accounts experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
Good knowledge of accounting principals
Must have SAP experience and knowledge
Work well under pressure and deliver on deadlines
Operationally and strategically strong
Strong customer relations skills
High level of financial acumen – ability to do calculations

Responsibilities:

Covering the Positions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit when needed
Update cashbook daily
Cash flow report- inflow of outflows of the 5 bank accounts
Update forex rates on Opera daily
Tip recons for Food and Beverage, and Spa to be split and sent to Payroll
Prepare invoices for coding, payments and remittances
Prepare GL journals for month end (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
Prepare monthly financial pack for owners meeting
Prepare Capex invoice
Update forecast and budget figures for Revenue report
Monthly and Quarterly Stats report
Save department general ledger detail, profit and loss summaries and full Income Statement
Various Balance Sheet recons as and when required
Compile variance report
Assisting with budgeting process and forecasting
