Experience Requirement
• Experience in SAP Business Objects BI4.0, BI4.1, BOXI R3.1, 3.0, XI R2, Xcelsius Dashboard, Design Studio.
• Strong Hands-on experience in using Business Objects Suite products like Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, CCM, CMC, Deski, Info view, Xcelsius Dashboards, Design Studio.
• Experience in Upgrading, Promoting BO Content through UMT and PMT.
• Worked with SAP BW Data sources to create Universes and Webi-reports.
• Expertise in BW Reporting using BEx and BO reporting using Design Studio, WebI, Xcelsius.
• Experienced in Installation, Configuration, Migration and Administration of Business Intelligence suit.
• Design and development of BW Reports using tools like BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer.
• Excellent data-analysis skills and ability to translate specifications into a working universe and/or report.
• Expertise in Planning, Designing, Developing, Distributing and maintaining Universes from scratch, migrating to different environments.
• Expertise over preparing Report Specifications to support the reporting requirements.
• Experienced in creating Technical Specs in regards to developed Universes and Reports for Users.
• Experienced in developing User guide, Training and Assisting Users.
• Expertise over preparing report specifications, database designs to support the reporting requirements.
• Experience in developing SSRS reports.
• Experience in Developing BO Reports based on PLSQL Scripts.

Job Description
• Develops report environments, reports and dashboards based on the operational data stored in the data warehouse;
• Defines database usage concepts, selects records, reorganizes data and formats reports;
• Exports reports, builds, applies and removes report templates;
• Creates complex reports requiring multiple parameters, summarizing data with crosstabs, using sections and section underlay for groups, and related report functions;
• Builds specialized reports using utilizing hyperlinks, dynamic graphic locations, alerts and tools;
• Utilizes reports servers to enable communication between DB and objects and generate report instances;
• Configures the job server to populate design patterns (value objects) with data/values retrieved from data bases; schedules objects with calendars to create reports as required.
• As part of architectural team, creates reporting architecture and frameworks;
• Participates in the design and development of various aspects of BO universes;
• Analyses BO Enterprise architecture; configures the CMC and uses this to access content
• Adds to and changes objects in the repository;
• Analyses BO Enterprise security model and creates security content such as users, groups and categories.
• Maintenance of error logs and Knowledge Base.
Qualification & Requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma is preferable.
• Oracle database/ SQL skills required for report development.
