A Leading Engineering Firm in Gauteng is looking for a SAP Business Analyst: BI, with SAP specific skills to start immediately.Preferably BEE Candidate.

Outputs

Effectively manage and provide business solutions/ reports and support across SAP functional modules (integration touch points)
Responsible to ensure that system changes do not negatively impact system functionality
Conduct workshops and presentations to obtain "buy in/sign-off" from business process owners, users and management
Assist in the development of detailed reports along business process managers, sap module consultants, business process owners and business process champions as well as the business process team
Managing of implementation services/ activities and post-implementation production support and product knowledge
Acquire SAP expertise from consultants (includes functional knowledge, and system configuration, etc.) Enabling self to take over the sap consultant role after implementation
Monitoring the BI database and interfaces during working hours and after hours and make corrections where possible to ensure that reports to business are provided on time
Provide alternative solutions to uneconomical business requirements and validate business requirements
Responsible for marketing, communicating and participating in the successful implementation of the designed processes and systems

Requirements of candidates

Suitable degree or diploma from a recognized institution
Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience
Sap certified in SAP BI
Appreciation of the cross-functional implications of the BI system
Good team player/leader with strong oral and written communication skills
Effective design of the business processes or report requirements
Ability to meet project and CBI deadlines
A team player as well as team leader
Willing and able to share knowledge
Patient with the potential to become a coach
Good problem solving skills/ aptitude and ability to recommend/convince regarding alternative solutions
Strong business application knowledge and a business application analyst with a strong technical proficiency
