Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s level degree or appropriate business / technical qualification
• Minimum 5 years relevant SAP BW experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in BW configuration role
• Experience in analysis of financial structures

Brief overview of job functions
• Participate in workshops and attend meetings to define and understand BI development requirements
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to meet development requirements
• Configure (i.e. development of BW objects and data flows) and test the system in line with business requirements
• Document requirements, system changes and testing, i.e. Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications and testing documentation
• Loading of data and resolving performance optimisation within the scope of responsibilities
• Reporting and reconciliation of data within the scope of responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
• Implementation of system changes that adhere to the organisation standards
• Provide recommendations and solutions for complex Business and System problems, where no precedent may exist
• Provide knowledge transfer of SAP/BI Software and related functionality to the organisation ERP Team

Knowledge and Skills:
• Netweaver BW 7.3 technical skills
• Netweaver BW 7.3 (Java) experience relating to Portal / BW integration - BW format end tools, Iviews
• Ability to create and maintain complex custom BW developments, including BEx Queries and Workbooks
• Ability to develop generic extractors and create custom cubes and deltas
• Experience with working with multi-providers
• BW experience across functional modules, with strong experience in Financial modules preferred
• Knowledge of BW authorisations and batch
• Experience in implementing BW together with a SAP portal for publishing BW queries will be an advantage
• Experience with BOBJ will be an advantage, as would experience in implementing BW together with a SAP portal for publishing BOBJ Dashboards WEBI reporting and Crystal Reports
• Previous ABAP experience is highly advantageous
• Previous SAP R/3 configuration experience is advantageous

Qualifications or Experience
• Bachelor’s level degree or appropriate business / technical qualification
• SAP BW certification is beneficial
• 5 years’ experience in BW
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in BW configuration role
• Involved in 2 BW implementations in the role of configurer.
• Business Objects: BOW310 Web Intelligence XI 3.0 - Report Design (Beneficial)
• Business Objects: BOX310 Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise: Core & Connectivity (Beneficial)
• Required 5 years overall SAP experience
