Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior Certificate and preferably a tertiary or appropriate business qualification
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Local Government
- Must have a strong functional knowledge of SAP Real Estate Management together with a good knowledge of the SAP modules to which it integrates as standard.
- Experience in full RE -FX implementation/upgrade cycles
- Configuration experience in SAP Flexible Real Estate
- Good knowledge of LSMW and automated tools for data load, transfer and testing
- Good communication, documentation and workshop delivery skills
- Good previous experience in business process design, gap analysis and specifying custom requirements
- Working knowledge of technical architecture of SAP tables and structures related to RE-FX
- Fair knowledge of Local Government Land Tenure and Administration Policy and Laws would advantages
- Good Analytical skills
- High level of self-motivation
- Intermediate skills in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Basic database skills – MS Access or similar
- Basics of Data Conversions – CATT & LSMW
- Preference will be given to those with experience of working in a SA Local Government environment.
Responsibilities:
- The main responsibilities are to support SAP Flexible Real Estate (RE-FX) users in different departments
- Responsible for user support and both formal and informal training of users.
- Assist with the design, building, testing and implementation of functionality in the RE -FX (Flexible Real Estate) module.
- Participating in workshops with business and documenting outputs
- Documents and updates process flows and functional requirements and team/stream documentation
- Understanding business process improvement methods and making suggestions
- Maintaining Business processes and Business requirements documentation for each step in the process flow
- Time and project / task management
- Ensure all work is assigned to applicant is correctly recorded and kept up to date managed on Service Requests (SR) and/or Change Requests (CR) System
- Document all developments, including related documentation
- Manage timelines and deliverables for minor projects or tasks
- Provide knowledge transfer to fellow team members.
