Our client, a leading Gold and Platinum Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified SAP Solution Architect at their corporate office in Weltevreden Park in Roodepoort.

The appointee should:
Be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training
Have 5 -10 years’ working in SAP experience
Have experience of working in global, multi-stream SAP
Have good understanding of Business requirements in order to be able to provide technical architecture solution ? Be able assess and manage technical risks and issues ? Have strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre

Key responsibilities:
SAP Technical design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals
Maintain skills in SAP technical process design, setup and deployment
SAP technical strategy and planning
Ensure that the business decision makers fully understand the impact of any system (process) changes
Perform analysis of critical issues in the project(s)/support matters, and provide expertise towards resolution
Adapt and support multiple projects in varied functional areas
Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP
Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule
Perform analysis of any new requirements and change requests to the solution
Provide direction to development teams for custom solution realisation and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live and maintenance support activities
Exercise effective budget controls
