A Scientist is required to assist in our Technical and Quality Management Department. Recently Scientist Graduates welcome to Apply. This Job is based in Simons Town, Western Cape South Africa

Salary and Benefits – Depends on experience

Qualifications:
A BSc or MSc in chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry or food science

Experience:
No work experience is required – i.e. can be a graduate with laboratory work and report writing experience.

Key outputs:
• Assistance with new product development and production trailing o Purchasing of chemicals required o Drafting of trial protocol Running the trials
? Writing up of research reports
• Input to product registrations Sourcing technical information
? Facilitating tests
• Updating and distribution of technical documentation to clients Material safety data sheets Certificates of analysis
• Liaising with external laboratories for routine product testing
? Ad hoc testing
• Assistance with commercial aspects
• Other ad hoc duties as requested by management
