Scrum Master – Sandton
 
Our client is looking for a passionate certified scrum master who is an expert on scrum and agile environment, who has at least 1 to 3 years experience working in a Scrum Master role and 2 to 3 years experience working in an agile environment.
 
Duties:

• Act as Scrum master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work.
• Strengthen the presence of our team as an Agile centre of excellence.
• Ensure cross-team coordination
• Experience with transitioning organizations to agile a benefit
• Strives to develop a team into a high performance team
• Act as a change agent to the team and organization
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint reviews
• Help to grow cohesive cross-functional teams and foster good communication between the disciplines
• Effectively facilitate Scrum meetings in order to make teams more productive
• Act as a project manager when necessary.
• Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a Scrum development team

 
Qualifications and experience

• Relevant IT or project management related degree
• Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner
• Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2) a benefit
• Knowledge and/or experience of Kanban
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
