Secretary – Cape Town

Well established company is looking for a Secretary who will report directly to a Senior Executive member.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric, with a Secretarial Qualification would be advantageous.
• 3 years’ experience as a Secretary
• Be well organised with strong administrative ability and be able to work effectively to deadlines.
• Be computer literate (preferably MS Office).
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Be prepared to work after hours and occasionally on weekends.
• Excellent communication skills which include the ability to liaise and negotiate.
• Excellent Diary management experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement and oversee all aspects of the effective day to day tasks and administrative duties of the executive member’s office.
• Perform routine secretarial duties (e.g. faxing, typing, answering telephones, filing)
• Setting up and coordinating meetings and conferences.
• Take minutes at meetings and follow up on tasks assigned to individuals.
• Organising business travel, itineraries, and accommodation.
• Manage and maintain the Senior Executives diary.
