Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Bachelor of Engineering: Mining
• National Diploma: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Government Certificate of Competence (Electrical / Mechanical)
• Relevant experience as a 2.13.1 appointment
• 7 years Management experience in a Mining Environment
• Project Management experience
• Experience on vertical and decline shafts
• Experience on winders
• Experience on TMM
• Computer Literate
• Drivers License
• Ability to lead and motivate other people
• Preciseness and disciplined
• Performance / Achievement driven
• Confidence
• Valid Certificate of Physical Fitness

Duties:
• Responsible for providing a planning and control service to ensure that the appropriate engineering practices and systems are implemented to achieve the optimum utilisation of labour, material, budget and equipment with a year planning horizon
• The Section Engineer is also responsible for maintenance and construction linked to the area of responsibility
