QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• A Degree or equivalent qualification, with at least five years working experience in research (research within the training and development environment will be an added advantage);
• Knowledge and application of relevant legislation governing SETAs and skills development in general;
• Sound experience in stakeholder management and in report writing;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Valid drivers licence and own vehicle.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Conduct research and develop the Sector Skills Plan for the five sub-sectors of the organization;
• Coordinate research assignments, Manage WSP/ATR submission processes;
• Determine and annually update the organizations scarce and critical skills and Career Guide;
• Review and upadate the SETA Management System on skills planning to meet new requirements;
• Liaise with the sector and provide support to Skills Development Facilitators.
