A vacancy exists for a Site manager based at Gold Reef Casino. The position will report to the Regional Manager/Contract Manager.

The Main purpose of this position is to ensure that the Clients need are efficiently and professionally met at all times and business reporting.

We therefore require a highly confident, assertive and outspoken individual with good communication, management and organisational skills, flexible and open minded, decisive, accountable and highly professional in conduct.

Key areas of responsibility: (not totally inclusive)

* Maintaining good relations between Group and Client with regard to security services rendered
* Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services
* Managing Contract Security Officers
* Rostering of Officers
* Excellent report writing skills
* Safeguarding
* Supervising / Patrolling
* Access Control
* Completing relevant registers
* Discipline staff

Qualifications, experience and other competencies required:

* Matric certificate with Grade A PSIRA registration and accreditation
* A minimum of 5 years' Management experience in Security Operations
* Previous Casino experience will be advantageous
* Very analytical individual with excellent Problem Solving Skills Ability to manage and discipline staff
* Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel
* Strong Operational Planning, Leadership and Organisational Skills as well as good interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are
essential
* Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours if and when required
* Good operational knowledge i.e. risk assessments, rosters, procedures, drills, etc. (Sound knowledge to identify risk)
* Valid code 10 / PDP Drivers Licence
* Own reliable transport
* Must have report writing and presentation skills
* Retail background and Casino licence (Exstensive Casino Knowledge)
