R450 000 to R650 000 per annum negotiable

Purpose
Design the IT security architecture as well as security controls in line with internal policies and procedures. You will also ensure that adequate systems and tools are in place to enforce these controls.

Responsibilities
• Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
• Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness

• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing expert advice and consulting on all aspects of IT security
• Represent Information Security in the business area under control at various IT Architecture and or Security committees and forums internally
• Support with the planning, motivation and the management of the implementation of an appropriate security operational strategy for the organisation by ensuring that operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees and ensure that appropriate standards of conduct are established and complied with.
• Comply, understand and implement all steps for the IT Information Security Processes and Procedures and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
• Identification, management and control of information security risks internally by assisting in identifying, defining and maintaining the information security policy and base line standards
• Support with implementing control mechanisms, which enables Information Security Service to have a view of the status of information security internally
• Take remedial action where necessary and inform management of any significant changes and risk situations
• Consult to projects in terms of identifying risks, vulnerabilities and controls for new developments by researching and understanding security best practices and implementation of security products in a corporate environment
• Manage own development to increase own competencies
• Maintain current knowledge of the Information Systems security industry's emerging technologies
• Maintain Active Directory infrastructure and operations at a level that endorses ISS’s Service level agreements with its customers.
• Maintain run books for Active Directory Operations
• Problem & Incident Management 3rd Level
• Escalate 3rd Level issues to vendor support
• Deploy application patches, refreshes and upgrades in accordance with related deployment and update schedules
• Support Operational Control processes (Audits, Risks, DR, BCM, Process Improvements, Performance management and Business management), supply requested information and implement corrective actions as applicable
• To successfully support an Active Directory Technology and ensure a maximum allowed SLA uptime is maintained for end user experience, the primary purpose of this role is to assist with the Day to Day Management of the Active Directory Infrastructure Services stream

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or Diploma
• 2 - 4 years relevant ICT experience, preferably within a financial services environment.
