Main Purpose

To ensure compliance, operational store readiness and a trained client base whilst building effective relationships

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

• Verify all Administrative documents for new sign on’s and roll outs
• Preparing of training material, training schedules and execution of training for any new roll out/store
• Prepare, communicate, liaise and execute various audits within merchant base
• Manage and monitor company assets within the Sales & Distribution business Unit
• Prepare, communicate and train on S&D policies and procedures internally and externally to ensure compliance
• Managing and monitoring of cost within the S& D business Unit
• Assist and execute any new project launched within S& D business unit within the timeframe required
• Plan and prioritize personal selling operation activities towards achieving agreed business targets, including costs and administration – especially managing personal time and productivity
• Train on product and service mix/ pricing according within agreed timelines
• Maintain and develop new and existing relevant internal & and external liaisons; and to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
• Monitor and manage agreed Service Level Agreements with internal business unites, suppliers and vendors
• Respond to and follow up sales and customer enquiries using the appropriate methods
• Monitor and report on activities executed within division and provide relevant feedback.
• Record, analyses, report and administer according to system requirements
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
• Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings
• Attend training and develop relevant sales, or similar, knowledge, techniques and skills
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must have a Senior Certificate – Grade 12
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in sales, operations and servicing of the SME sector
• Understanding of the consumer lending business
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Must be comfortable to train and consult with clients
• Ability to produce results and fulfill stated goals
• Ability to work in a highly competitive and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail
• Advanced Computer literacy; must be efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license is compulsory


Travel

The selling operations consultant is required to travel in a car for most of the day, every day. It is also a requirement that the consultant travel long distance with stay overs. This is a requirement of the position.
