SEMI SKILLED MILLWRIGHT, VEREENGING, R20 000 CTC

MUST RESIDES IN VEREENIGING / VANDERBIJLPARK – SEMI SKILLED MILLWRIGHT + STRONG ON MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE IN MANUFACTURING / FACTORY ENVIRONMENT. MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY

• Control of departmental budget.
• Fault finding on equipment and fixing them
• Defects finding and solving on the process.
• Ensuring that the product is of good quality.
• Ensuring the equipment is running according to specifications.
• Conduct Pragma inspection according to schedule.
• Telephoning suppliers for quotes and create purchase orders and good receipting.
• Arrange for casuals and supervise them during plant shutdown.
• Conduct planned plant shutdowns.
• Manage contractors during plant shutdowns.
• Serve on safety committee
• Ensure working environment is safe.
• Serve as assistant to the supervisor of Machinery(GMR 2.1)
• Creating awareness about risk relating to work.
• Mentoring of process controllers.
• Encourage process controller to go for Medical surveillance.
• Training of process controllers on standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Report writing and presenting of training and plant down time.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas.
