Package: Negotiable around R45000 P/M plus Performance Bonus

About the role
The Senior Account Manager will help drive and service demand for solutions. The Senior Account Manager is a key custodian the company mission and the ideal candidate must have a passion for making an impact in marginalized communities by assisting clients to leverage technology platforms.

Description and responsibilities
1. Business Development
• Promote and build networks at conferences, exhibitions and industry events
• Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations and feature tours to convey value proposition
• Identify potential customers and formulate and execute detailed sales plan to build deal pipeline
• Manage end-to-end deal flow and customer on-boarding process
2. Account Management
• Nurture high quality, productive relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers for assigned accounts
• Ensure high-levels of customer satisfaction, usage and retention
3. Capacity Building
• Plan and execute strategic training and knowledge sessions with current and potential customers to maximise their utilisation of and benefit from services
Candidate requirements
• At least 5 years of software sales and/or account management experience with proven track record of success
• Tertiary-level qualification with solid academic record
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• High degree of computer literacy
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Passion for technology
• Driver’s license and own transport, valid passport
• South African work visa (if not a South African citizen)
• Logical and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to travel routinely (nationally and internationally)
Advantageous
• Experience in Non-Profit / NGO / Development sector
• Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and/or Research sector
• B2B sales and/or account management experience
