Senior Account Manager - Cape Town

This team has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Account Manager with advanced knowledge of Doubleclick and client services experience to join their team in Cape Town. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for driving long-term business building and oversees account team management when required

Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Account Manager in Cape Town will include:

- Manage and influence mid-level customer contacts and maintain positive working relationships
- Assist operational team to communicate and resolve customer issues and provide the customer with a best effort without spending more time than
the income from the customer’s business justifies
- Actively engaging with customers to upsell new campaigns and services
- Grow the performance on campaigns, with the operational team, to exceed customer growth expectations
- Coach and lead your team and develop skills and expertise within the account management team (where applicable)
- Thoroughly understand the fundamentals of the customer’s business
- Advise on all aspects of the online marketing mix and deployment to achieve a customer’s business objectives
- Recommend products and services to your customers as appropriate
- Thoroughly understand the fundamentals of performance-based online marketing
- Have a profound knowledge about online marketing methodologies and best practices
- Supporting the Managing Director to negotiate with the customer
- Internal reporting to the Business Unit Director and the Managing Director
- Document key outcomes and/or action items from customer’s meetings
- Ensure correct reporting is provided to each customer
