Calling all experienced Accountants with manufacturing experience!! My client is seeking a loyal individual with a stable track record for a Senior Accountant position. Management experience is a must have.



Qualification:

BCom Financial Accounting

Equivalent qualification



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years overall Accounting experience within a business

Sage experience would be advantageous

Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures



Job Description:

Full Administration

Monthly Management Accountants

Invoicing

Manage the full financial function, including (but not limited to) weekly cash flow preparation and cash management and debtors management

Prepare monthly income and balance sheet statements and financial packs for Board Exco meeting

Preparation of monthly Exco decks for Exco meetings

Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare all monthly supporting schedules

Stock allocation and rectifying of variances

VAT and EMP201 returns

Managing the tax compliance in conjunction with the company’s tax advisors

HR and Wages including month-end reports

Implementation and management of internal control systems and new processes to provide greater efficiency and insight
